Get well soon Mary

Another card to share from last week

Yes I am still making get well cards

This time this card was crafted for my dear neighbour Mary, who has been under the weather for quite a while now

I found some cute little journalling cards in my scrapbooking stash and thought they would make pretty details on cards too

Flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts
Leafy dies are all from China
Sentiment is Stampin' Up

Get well soon Mary, hope the docs get to the bottom of all your mysterious symptoms soon

Love and healing wishes

Thinking of you Trish

Yes I am back with another get well kind of card

This one was created for my friend Trish

Trish is always the first to think of others and is kindness personified, so, when I recently found out she hadn't been well, I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her and hoping she is much better soon

I wanted the card to be bright and cheerful just like Trish

All the dies used on this card, except from the oval - which is Spellbinders,  are from China, the little banner pieces at the top of the card are made using a Stampin" Up punch

Papers are also a stack bought from China

Get well soon Trish, I hope you are getting all the treatment you need, lots of love to both you and David

Neil just found the most gorgeous vintage shipyard sign

We both fell in love with the typeface, colours and especially the 3D copper ship, with the stunning patina

We picked the sign up from a little farm just outside Newquay and it was a good job we took the campervan, not sure it would have fit in the car !

The perfect finishing touch for the hallway

Get well Soon Amy

Yes, back with yet more Get Well soon Wishes

This card was for Amy

She fell down the stairs at work and caused some quite severe ligament damage in her foot, needless to say she was on crutches and wearing a moon boot for a while

I handcut the little foot and wrapped it in genuine bandages ( had some teeny tiny ones left over from Robbies toe op)
The safety pin was from a set of baby scrapbooking embellishments

Sentiment is from Stampin' Up and all dies are from China

Amy is free from the boot and the crutches and back at work, she is still undergoing physio but feeling much better thank goodness

Back tomorrow with something not made from paper !!!

Love and little limp limbs

Get Well Soon

This year has been an awful one for friends and family becoming poorly, I am almost fearful to pick up the telephone

This card was made for Neil's mum who recently had to have her hip replaced, complications after surgery quite literally knocked her off her feet for a while

She is on the mend now, thank goodness

Back tomorrow with another Get Well Card

Love and healing wishes

Get well wishes

I made this card a couple of weeks ago for one of my dearest friends who is currently quite poorly

The very worst thing about living at the other end of the country to most of my friends and family is not being able to dispense hugs so easily

I used Melissa Frances and Stampin'Up  papers and some fabulous webbing which my lovely friend Carol gave to me a long time ago, I am very frugal with it as I love it and have not found any to replace it with - it only lands on very special cards and gifts

The large pink flower was a hideous purple to start with but it was the only one I had that size, so I set about it with inks and embossing powders

Sending much love to my dear dear friend P, love you xxx

In other news

We have just enjoyed our very first non-family house guest by way of Jan
Thankyou so much for coming Jan, it was so nice to catch up with all the news, thankyou for the gifts ( I will be sharing the gorgeous tag book on my blog for everyone to see) and thankyou for the inspiration, but most of all thankyou for your company xxx

Molly has started puppy school

If there was an award for the naughtiest puppy each week, such an award would be going to Molly - hands down, or should I say paws down !!!

And.... drum roll please, I have actually started making my christmas cards - before December no less . Will be sharing them soon

Love and healing wishes
